Blueberry Funny Cake

Start with a pre-baked 9 inch pastry shell.
1 box one layer yellow or white cake mix, Jiffy brand works well.
1 egg
1 can of blueberry pie filling

Prepare cake mix according to package directions adding water and egg. 

Pour into pastry shell. 

Drop the pie filling by the heaping spoonfuls over the cake batter.

Bake in pre-heated oven 350 for 35-45 min. or until toothpick comes out clean. 

This is truly a “Funny” cake! During the baking process, the pie filling all goes to the bottom and rests on the pastry shell and forms a pie topped with a cake. It is a lot of fun to make.
